9 - Mayfield is a bus route operated by the Greater Cleveland Regional Transit Authority (RTA). It begins at Public Square in downtown Cleveland, Ohio and runs along Chester Avenue, Euclid Avenue, and Mayfield Road to its eastern end at the Eastgate Shopping Center in Mayfield Heights. It runs through Downtown Cleveland, University Circle, Cleveland Heights, South Euclid, Lyndhurst and Mayfield Heights.
Prior to November 9, 2008, the route was designated as 9X. RTA also formerly ran a 9F bus as flyer service with limited stops.
